John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.

Rock star shot multiple times while walking his dog

Ozzy Osbourne's former guitarist Jake E. Lee has been 'shot multiple times' during a morning dog walk, according to reports.

Jake's reps say that the incident took place "at random" whilst he was in Las Vegas. Currently, the musician is said to be battling his injuries in intensive care.The incident is now under police investigation, according to reports.

Jake E. Lee, known for his iconic stint as Ozzy's lead guitarist, had five years of noteworthy partnership with the rock legend before venturing into other music ensembles.

During an early morning stroll with his dog, Lee became the unexpected victim of a 'shooting.' A representative for Lee told Dailymail.com: "Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital." His tenure with Ozzy lasted from 1982 until 1987, stepping into the big shoes left by the late Randy Rhodes, who tragically died in a plane crash.
