Robert Pattinson is part of the star-studded cast of Netflix’s new movie The Devil All the Time and he speaks with a high-pitched Southern accent in the film. Antonio Campos, who directed the movie, has revealed that Rob refused to let anyone, including him, hear the accent until they started shooting the movie. “Rob was impossible to get dialect coaching,” Antonio told Insider. “He just didn’t want to do it.
He was just adamant about figuring it out on his own. He would be like, ‘I’m gonna do this thing, and that thing, with a little bit of this.’” Rob‘s first scene on set was where he seduces Lenora in his car. “That was the first time I heard his voice and saw the character in person,” Campos said.
