Robert Pattinson Circling Christopher Nolan’s Next Movie At Universal
deadline.comRobert Pattinson is in talks to join the A-list ensemble of Christopher Nolan’s next film at Universal. He joins a cast that includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya and Lupita Nyong’o.
The film will have an Imax release on July 17, 2026. The date falls in line with a number of Nolan films that have had similar release dates in the past, most recently his Oscar Best Picture winner Oppenheimer last year.
Universal had no comment on the casting of Pattinson. The movie is expected to start shooting in early 2025, but sources note that loglines or descriptions of the film that have been published to date are wrong, with details being kept under wraps.
If a deal closes, it would mark a reunion for Pattinson and Nolan, who worked together on Tenet. Pattinson is currently in production on the A24 pic The Drama, which also stars Zendaya.
