Robert De Niro has claimed that the coronavirus pandemic caused a huge financial blow.The Irishman actor appeared in court via a Skype call after his ex-wife Grace Hightower requested an emergency order to raise her monthly American Express credit limit from $50,000 (£39,600) to $100,000 (£79,300) after he originally cut it.Unfortunately, the star is running low on dinero after the restaurant chain Nobu and Greenwich Hotel – both of which he has stakes in – closed for several months due to the pandemic.His lawyer Caroline Krauss told the judge that the restaurant chain lost $3 million (£2.37m) in April and a further $1.87 million (£1.48m) the next month.The 76-year-old’s lawyer also argued that Robert’s 2004 prenuptial agreement with Grace.
