Scotland boss Steve Clarke has opened up on the decision to call up Rangers third choice stopper Robby McCrorie - admitting he is struggling to find young goalkeeping options for the national side.
McCrorie has made only two first team appearances for Rangers - a Europa League outing against Alashkert and an impressive derby performance in victory over Celtic with the Rangers squad decimated by Covid-19 cases last season.
However, with Jon McLaughlin dropping out of the squad Clarke has offered the former Livingston and Morton goalkeeper a recall to the squad.
The 24-year-old has yet to earn his first cap having last been called up to the squad when on loan at Livi two years ago, but will hope to make an appearance in the Nations League clash with Ukraine and Ireland ahead of Hearts' number one Craig Gordon and Motherwell's Liam Kelly.
