Robbie has revealed he has spent the lockdown recording 20 new songs in a “genre I haven’t touched before”. He says: “I’ve been writing new songs.
I’m very excited about the new songs – I’m in a new musical genre, a genre I haven’t really touched before. “Not new taste-wise – it’s what I’m about.” He added he is “looking forward” to fans hearing his new direction.
The former Take That star said he had already recorded 24 new songs with a “disco vibe” before the lockdown kicked in – and now says his 20 new tracks have a “dance electronic” feel.
