Hearts boss Robbie Neilson has revealed Craig Halkett pulled up with a hamstring injury in the Europa League playoff defeat to FC Zurich but refused to rule him out of the second leg.
The Jambos took the lead against the Swiss champions as Lawrence Shankland 's penalty sent the travelling Hearts support into a frenzy, before some disappointing defensive lapses were punished with quick fire goals from Adria Guerrero and Blerim Dzemaili.
That means Zurich take a narrow lead to Tynecastle for the second leg with the tie very much alive before the return fixture in Edinburgh.
However, there was a bitter blow for Hearts early on when key defender Halkett limped off after just six minutes, and was spotted on the bench in crutches as he came out for the second half.
