Road rage thug jailed after throwing van driver from bonnet of car and leaving him for dead

Jorden Rowbottom, 20, was in a blue Nissan Micra with a woman and two girls when he became involved in an 'altercation' with 46-year-old Andrew Dean, Lancashire Police said.

Mr Dean was driving a white Renault Master van on the A583 in Kirkham, Lancashire, and got out to speak to Rowbottom at the junction with Freckleton Street, police said.

Rowbottom, of Manor Road, Denton, responded by driving the Nissan into Mr Dean and knocking him onto the bonnet. The Nissan then collided with a BMW before Rowbottom set off 'at speed' with Mr Dean still
