River Island's 'luxurious' coat fashion experts insist looks 'more expensive' than similar £320 Tommy Hilfiger version

When it comes to recreating some of the latest styles shown on the runways, nobody does it better than River Island. The high street retailer is known for taking inspiration from the luxury catwalks and putting their own spin on the styles, at a price point that we can afford.

Quite often, River Island creates garments that look even more expensive than their designer counterparts. And the brand's latest beige coat which costs less than £100 is no exception.

River Island's Beige Funnel Neck Longline Coat comes in at £99 and looks very similar to the Double-Breasted Funnel Neck Belted Wool Jacket from Tommy Hilfiger, which costs £320 at full RRP.

We've talked about it between ourselves here at the MEN, and we all agree that the River Island version looks a lot more expensive than the Tommy piece.
