It seems as if Danny Dyer had a blast celebrating his 47th birthday, admitting he enjoyed "a little doobie" in Amsterdam. The trip was a stark contrast to his wild 21st birthday visit, and the Rivals actor shared that this time around, the Red Light district felt "unsettling" as he strolled along the canals, just "having a mooch around".

Danny, who turned 47 in July, jetted off with his wife Jo, his brother, and his sister-in-law for a special birthday getaway, but couldn't help laughing as he recalled how women in the windows were "still trying to coax me in".

However, Danny and his brother simply indulged in "a nutty bit of weed", opting for the strain known as White Widow. The ex-Eastenders star is quite candid about his past drug use, and although he doesn't partake often these days, it seems he's kept up his tolerance. "I don't spew," he proudly told his daughter Dani on their new podcast Live and Let Dyers, reflecting on his younger days when he had "That was always my problem back in the day, I always had too much of a good capacity for drugs." Despite his experience, Danny did admit the visit took its toll: "I was quite f***ed when I got back," he confessed. "It's a fascinating place, Amsterdam, where you can walk into a coffee shop, look at their menu, and instead of a bowl of nuts, they've got a bowl of Rizlas.

I'm not a big smoker, but I thought: 'While I'm back there, I'll have a little dabble.' We had a little early doobie." Danny opened up about his 2016 stint in a South African rehab, which he described as a "wake up call".
