Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born 26 November 1990) is an English singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached number one in the UK. Her debut studio album, Ora, released in August 2012, debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The album contained the UK number-one singles, "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)". Ora was the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, with three singles reaching the top position.

Rita Ora and Bob Geldof join forces in fight against coronavirus

Rita Ora and Live Aid founder Sir Bob Geldof have banded together in the fight against Covid-19. To raise awareness and funds for the fight against coronavirus, the pair have designed an emblem for the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations.

The emblem – which consists of a germ inside a peace symbol – will be used to promote and give a louder voice to the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund, which was set up by the WHO and UN to help those most affected by the ongoing pandemic.

Rita explained in a press release that she reached out to the Live Aid hero for advice on how best to make a difference, who came with the idea for the emblem.
