Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has died in a hospital in the Indian city of Mumbai, after being admitted with breathing problems.
The 67-year-old was a member of the Kapoor family which has been a dominant force in the Hindi film industry. Rishi made his name in 1973 film Bobby, which was his first lead role.
Randhir Kapoor had previously reassured fans after news spread that his brother Rishi had been rushed to hospital on Wednesday morning.
He told Press Trust of India at the time that there was no emergency and was hopeful that he will be "alright". Randhir said: "He is in the hospital.
