Rio Ferdinand has questioned Manchester United's approach to games under Erik ten Hag this season. The Red Devils made strides under Ten Hag during the Dutchman's first campaign in charge.
United finished third in the Premier League, qualifying for the Champions League while also ending their near six-year trophy drought after winning the Carabao Cup.
But United have taken major steps backwards in Ten Hag's second season at the club with a joint club record of 12 Premier League defeats, which currently puts them in sixth, 11 points off the top four.
One major criticism labelled at Ten Hag's team in 2023/24 has been their openness, which has seen them concede the most shots of any side in the league this year.
