Rio Ferdinand suggested Erik ten Hag's substitutions led to Manchester United "relinquishing control" in the second half of their draw with Tottenham on Thursday night.
The Reds took the lead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium through Jadon Sancho in the seventh minute. The Reds winger - who started in place of Anthony Martial - stroked his effort past Fraser Forster to give the away side the advantage.
United made it 2-0 just before the half-time break, with Marcus Rashford grabbing his 28th goal in all competitions with a smart finish from inside the penalty area.
However, when Spurs pulled a goal back through Pedro Porro in the 56th minute, Ten Hag opted to make a number of substitutions in the 15 minutes that followed.
