Sterling had scored both of England's group game goals at Euro 2020, and he increased that figure to three in the second-half when he converted Luke Shaw's cross in the penalty area.
The Manchester City man has been one of England's best players at the tournament so far, and now has 15 goals in his last 20 England appearances.
For his role at the tournament, as well as his respectable work off the pitch, Ferdinand says there should be no more doubts over Sterling's quality.
