Rio Ferdinand has admitted he can be quite a strict parent to his four children but loves to be hands-on.The former footballer, who enjoyed a date night with wife Kate recently, said he plays a role in changing nappies and supporting his family.

Speaking to The Sun, the 42 year old said: "I’m quite hands on, I think Kate would say the same. I don’t mind changing the nappies at all, bath times and stuff are great, also a bit of cooking when I can, I don’t mind doing that as well." When asked about his parenting style, he added: "Yeah I am quite strict.
