Ringo Starr and his band, All-Starr, were forced to cancel two concerts after the drummer fell ill. The group were due to perform in New Buffalo, Michigan, on Saturday just a couple of hours after the cancellation was announced and then again in Minnesota on Sunday.

A spokesperson for the band has said that the 82-year-old's illness is not related to Covid-19 but they did not confirm his diagnosis.

His mystery illness has affected his voice, reports the Mirror. The band were also due to perform on Sunday night in Prior Lake, Minnesota, but the venue announced that the show would be cancelled in a statement online. A rescheduled date will be announced in the future.” Ringo celebrated his 82nd birthday in early July and held his annual Peace and Love party.
