Rihanna 'not paid' for Super Bowl Half-Time Show thanks to decades-old rule

Despite delivering a jaw-dropping, sell-out performance during last night's halftime 2023 Super Bowl, pop megastar Rihanna will not receive any payment for her concert according to decades-old rules.

The Barbadian singer, 34, kicked off the live performance at Sunday night's 2023 Super Bowl suspended high above the stadium and dressed in all red, performing a medley of her chart-topping hits.

During what was her first performance at the eagerly-anticipated American football event - her first in seven years - the Umbrella hitmaker made the shock announcement that she's pregnant with her second child.

Rihanna had previously turned down the opportunity to perform at the much-loved sporting event, revealing last year that she agreed to get on board for the 2023 edition.
