William Earl Ricky Gervais has announced his next world tour and corresponding Netflix special. “Ricky Gervais: Mortality” is going to launch later this year and run until the end of 2025, “taking in all of Gervais’s favorite arenas around the world,” per a press release.

The special will also be filmed for release on Netflix. “We’re all gonna die. May as well have a laugh about it. Mortality looks at the absurdities of life.

And death. Bring it on,” Gervais said in a statement. Gervais and Netflix have had a robust partnership together, as his most recent special for them, “Armageddon,” won a Golden Globe, spent time at Number 1 on Netflix’s most watched list, and holds the world record for the highest-grossing comedy special of all time.

Other Gervais-Netflix collaborations include three seasons of his series “After Life,” as well as specials “Humanity” and “SuperNature.” See the full tour poster below..
