Ricki Lake shares emotional meaning behind tattoo in tribute to late husband on ITV's Good Morning Britain

Actress Ricki Lake appeared on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday (October 19) and shared the emotional meaning behind her only tattoo.

The 54-year-old, who played Tracy Turnblad in the 1988 film Hairspray, joined hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid on the GMB sofa.

She discussed her career and looked back at her self-titled 90s talk show, which she began hosting at just 24 years old. She told Susanna of the programme: "I don't think that type of show could exist today.

I just think times are different and everyone is so delicate about being divisive and having different options." The star also announced that she was launching a new podcast, Raised By Ricki, which will see her re-watch the show and discuss its cultural context.
