Richard Osman has apologised for previously defending Gregg Wallace. Author and former Pointless star Richard, 54, says he is sorry after he 'stuck up' for the Masterchef host.

Richard was speaking on the The Rest Is Entertainment podcast he hosts with Marina Hyde. He says on a previous show he defended Wallace after the 'Inside The Factory' presenter was accused of being dull over a day in the life interview.

Richard said: ''If I can start with a Mea culpa, because a while ago we talked about him, because he had that boring day in the life, and I stuck up for him because I think being boring is fine.
