Richard Chamberlain has sadly passed away. The actor, known for roles in Dr. Kildare, Shogun and The Thorn Birds among many other TV and movie productions, died at the age of 90 on Saturday night (March 29) in Waimanalo, Hawaii due to complications following a stroke, his publicist Harlan Boll told The Hollywood Reporter.

How blessed were we to have known such an amazing and loving soul. Love never dies. And our love is under his wings lifting him to his next great adventure.” Richard starred in dozens of productions, including Petulia, Three Musketeers films, King Solomon’s Mines and Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold.

He would also be known for his roles in miniseries like Centennial, and he was the first actor to portray Jason Bourne when he starred as the character in an ABC miniseries in 1988.
