Rhod Gilbert has issued a statement revealing that he's receiving treatment for cancer. The comedian, who is a patron at the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff, has been having treatment at the facility.
In the past, he's led treks around the world to help raise vital funds for the centre. In a message posted on his official Facebook page on Thursday, July 14 he says: "As a proud patron of Velindre Cancer Centre, I’ve trekked the world, hosted chaotic quizzes and star-studded comedy nights. "I’ve met and made friends with so many inspirational staff, patients and their families.
