It's no secret that St Helens have ruled the roost over Super League for the past three years. But an old foe is threatening to become a force once more.
Wigan Warriors have been revitalised under Matt Peet, with their new head coach bringing the good times back to the DW Stadium.
That was evident as they won the Challenge Cup Final at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week. Not only was it Peet's first final, it was a major trophy at the earliest possible attempt.
Of course, it isn't lost on Wigan fans, or Saints for that matter, that the Warriors toppled the Super League champions on their way, killing off their hopes of another domestic double, or dominance, in the semi-final.
