A reveller produced a 'terrifying' knife when he was refused entry to a city centre nightclub. Domario Lindo, also known as Simeon Nelson, has been jailed following the incident last month prior to the lockdown.

Lindo, 25, from Old Trafford, claimed he took out the knife to 'scare the doorman off'. Manchester Crown Court heard that Lindo and another man tried to join the queue to enter a city centre nightspot, at about 4.30am on Sunday, March 15.

After the pair were told they would not be allowed entry, they became verbally aggressive to door staff. Other bouncers were radioed for assistance, after a fracas involving pushing and shoving broke out.
