A dog's fur was so matted he could barely see and struggled to walk when he was rescued. Frankie the terrier cross was found abandoned in August last year and was in a terrible condition before being saved by the RSPCA.
Charity workers gave the pooch a haircut and groom, while also providing urgent medical care on various ailments in a bid to bring it back to health.
Miraculously, Frankie made a full recovery and was placed up for adoption and welcomed home by dog-lover Tracey Williamson, who said it was "love at first sight".
