An American reporter is the latest person to work from home who has gone viral in a matter of days after being photo-bombed by her dad during a live-cross to the office.

Journalist Jessica Lang, of news channel SSN in Florida made a video call to her team and enlisted in the help of her mum Diana - who did a brilliant job of camera operator.

Jessica readied herself for a segment from her home kitchen, but much to her dismay her dad Kevin decided to make an unexpected cameo.

In a five-second video Jessica stops mid-sentence after picking up on her mum's social cues from behind the camera. "What did you do mum?" she aggressively says before spotting her father half-shirtless dad walkinh into the room.
