Relief as number of bus routes in and around Wishaw saved

A number of bus routes vital for commuters in and around Wishaw have been saved. Last month, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) confirmed to councillors that five First services were due to cease operating a number of SPT contracted services from February 4.

The buses affected are: 93 Coltness - Wishaw - Netherton; 193 Parkside - Pather; 210 Wishaw General Hospital - Law - Carluke; 244 Forgewood - Motherwell - North Lodge and 251 Larkhall - Wishaw General Hospital.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
