Regan Tierney announced her new relationship on Facebook, hours later she was dead, inquest hears
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA 'wonderful' young mum used Facebook to announce she was in a new relationship just hours before she was killed by her ex in a tragic murder-suicide, an inquest has heard.
Regan Tierney, 27, was found with multiple stab wounds at her Salford home on June 5, 2019. Her ex-partner of 10 years, Daniel Patten, 31, was also found with critical injuries.
He died two days later in hospital. A Coroner previously ruled his death was suicide. Following an agonising five-year wait for the family, Regan's inquest resumed on today (July 11) at Bolton Coroner's Court.
