But the mum-of-three headed out with her 20-year-old son to a glitzy Vanity Fair pre-Golden Globe party on Saturday, 6 January.The Oscar winner was all smiles with her son by her side in Los Angeles, at the luxury Bar Marmont at Chateau Marmont.The mother and son were in good company, as they brushed shoulders with other famous faces including including Tobey Maguire, Helen Mirren, Kathryn Hahn and Nicolas Cage, at the event.
Deacon looked dapper in a navy suit, with a black trim, paired with a white button-up shirt. Reese wore a red floor length sequined dress with matching heels and a black blazer.The producer and actress shares daughter Ava Phillippe, 24, and son Deacon Phillippe, 20, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
It's reported they first met on the actress' 21st birthday party before working together on the set of Cruel Intentions.They tied the knot in a small ceremony in Charleston , South Carolina in June 1999, when Reese was 23 and Ryan was 25.
