Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon star in this latest film for the streamer, in which the coveted wedding date of June 1 becomes a source of contention between Jim (Ferrell), father of a bride, and Margo Witherspoon), the sister of another bride.
Unfortunately for Ferrell’s eager beaver single father and Witherspoon’s type-A career woman, a resort on a remote Carolina coast island double books their family members’ wedding ceremonies.
The R-rated film, directed by Nick Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Neighbors) also stars Geraldine Viswanathan, Meredith Hagner, Jimmy Tatro, Stony Blyden, Leanne Morgan, Rory Scovel, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Ramona Young, Jack McBrayer, Fortune Feimster with Celia Weston.
