The iconic web series Red vs. Blue is about to close its final chapter. Just weeks following the shutdown of the production company that created it, Burnie Burns’ Rooster Teeth, Warner Bros.
Discovery today announced that one of the internet’s longest-running series will end its 19th and final season with a full-length feature film.
Red vs. Blue: Restoration will be released on several streaming platforms on May 7. The film will be available for purchase May 7 from Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu and more.
It will be available to rent digitally on May 21. Matt Hullum will direct and Burns – who left Rooster Teeth in 2020 – is returning as lead writer for the upcoming final season to bring closure to a narrative spanning over two decades.
