Funk rock stalwarts the Red Hot Chill Peppers submitted a legendary food order fitting for the icons that they are. The Californication hitmakers were in Glasgow on Sunday night to perform at Hampden Park and after working up a hunger with their impressive set, they sent for some sustenance for their crew from a local food outlet, who then proudly shared the order with followers on Instagram.
The group - made up of Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, Chad Smith and John Frusciante - ordered up an impressive 250 chicken wings, as well as sauces and sides.
Staff at Bucks Bar on West Regent Street took to social media to thank the musicians for choosing them for their takeaway needs.
The Bucks Bar team posted on Instagram: "@chilipeppers ORDERED A BUCKS BAR LAST NIGHT. "It was a massive order of 250 WINGS.
