A reality TV show star has been caught at Manchester Airport with a stash of drugs worth around £150,000. Olga Bednarska, 27, known for her appearance on Too Hot to Handle, was stopped by officials last month when she arrived in the UK from Thailand with nearly 40kg of cannabis concealed within her luggage.

Initially claiming to have packed her bags herself, Bednarska later confessed to being given them at the airport after stating she was doing a favour for a friend known as 'Tex' to transport designer clothes and watches.

She subsequently pleaded guilty to being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug and was handed a suspended sentence, report the Manchester Evening News. "She said they wanted her to bring back designer clothes and watches," said Samuel Eskdale, who was prosecuting, in court. "The officers asked her to unlock the suitcases, but she could not provide the code to do so.

She then confirmed she had been given the suitcases at the airport." The court was later presented with the contents of the suitcases, which turned out to be not just Bednarska's belongings, but also numerous vacuum-packaged parcels of cannabis weighing 39.4 kilos, with a street value of around £157,600.The court heard that Bednarska had no prior convictions and had been in custody since her arrest in October.
