'Days of Our Lives' Exit - 1 Star Leaves After 10 Years on the TV Show!

His character, Clyde Weston, was shot in the latest episode (Thursday, December 11) by Catherina Greene (Susan Elena Matus), and now he’s in a coma. “It’s been a fabulous run so far, only the soap gods know if it is meant to continue!” the actor said to Deadline. “I always think of Days as a family and have enjoyed every minute of working there since I started 10 years ago.” The actor originated the part in 2014, taking on the role as the estranged father of Ben Rogers and stepfather of Jordan Ridgeway.
He has played Clyde on and off over the years. Previously, he starred on Cheers, Trapper John M.D., Murder She Wrote, Profiler and 7th Heaven, and most notably played Elle’s dad in Legally Blonde.
