Coleen Rooney has decided not to relocate from her Cheshire home to Plymouth with Wayne in a bid to "help their marriage". Sources close to the family have said that staying in the north west was largely motivated by Coleen's desire to maintain stability and happiness in their relationship.
The couple, who generally keep details of their private life under wraps, opened up about the choice with the Mail on Sunday earlier this month.
Wayne, the former England captain and previous Everton player, stated that Coleen, along with their sons Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass, will continue living in their £20m mansion, despite his move down south.
An insider speaking to Closer magazine said: "Coleen's decision to stay up north while Wayne is in Plymouth was very much in an effort to help their marriage, despite many thinking it could be a sign of them living separate lives.
