Teddy Sheringham has highlighted one significant transformation in Roy Keane following his move from Nottingham Forest to Manchester United.
Keane became a midfield powerhouse at Old Trafford after his 1993 transfer for a then-British record fee of £3.75 million. He spent a trophy-laden 12 years with United, clinching seven Premier League titles and a Champions League crown in that time.
Sheringham joined Keane under Sir Alex Ferguson's management four years after Keane's arrival and witnessed first-hand the evolution of his team-mate.
The Irishman developed into a formidable defensive force among a squad brimming with talent, including David Beckham, Paul Scholes, and Andy Cole.
