Real Madrid are in advanced talks to sign former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea this summer. That's according to developing reports from talkSPORT as the Spaniard finally takes a step closer to the Santiago Bernabeu after his failed transfer there in 2015.
De Gea, 32, is currently a free agent after being released by United this summer - following 12 seasons with the Old Trafford giants.
A serious knee injury to Thibaut Courtois has pushed Real into the market for another goalkeeper. Courtois, 31, has ruptured his ACL and the Belgian is widely expected to miss the entire 2023/2024 campaign.
