The race for Erling Haaland is not over, according to a family friend. Reports this week have claimed that Manchester City have agreed a contract with the Borussia Dortmund striker that would see him become the Premier League’s highest earner on £500,000-a-week.
They say the deal is not over the line just yet with bonuses and commissions still to be finalised, but City are bracing to trigger the £63m release clause in his contract.
