Following the confirmation that former BBC News presenter Huw Edwards has entered guilty pleas to child sex offence charges against him, details have emerged about his home life since allegations were made.
The 62-year-old entered the pleas at Westminster Magistrates' Court after being charged with three counts of making indecent images of children.
The Welsh journalist was arrested in November 2023 and officially resigned from the BBC in April 2024. The offences are alleged to have taken place between December 2020 and April 2022 with him being accused of having six category A images, 12 category B images and 19 category C images.
While it was his wife Vicky Flind who named him as the man at the centre of allegations last year and in a statement detailed his "serious mental health issues," Edwards reportedly moved out of the marital home some time ago.
