One of Britain's most well-loved Olympians is back on our TV screens today as he kicks off his Paris 2024 medal campaign. Diver Tom Daley first rose to fame aged just 14 at the 2008 games, and has been a familiar sporting face ever since.
He became a gold medallist at Tokyo 2021, and is now competing in his fifth Olympic games. Outside of the pool, the nation has watched Daley grow up, move to the US with husband Dustin Lance Black, and become a devoted father to two boys. Tom Daley was born in Plymouth in May 1994. He quickly became a talented diver, winning the British national junior platform title in 2004 just days after his tenth birthday.
