I'm like, ‘She's from the industry.’ And my mom was bugging me."Even though they both felt that there was “something different” about the relationship, Pearman-Maday agreed. “We both were like, ‘This takes away the genuineness of it all, but we also understood that we live in Hollywood,'" Raven-Symoné said. "She knows who she is.
So she did it.”Raven-Symoné in 2013, and later explained that she hadn’t ever thought she’d be able to acknowledge her sexuality.“I never thought I would come out because my personal life didn’t matter,” she said at the time. “It was only what was supposed to be sold as the Raven-Symoné brand.”The star, who got her first part as a kid on The Cosby Show, said that as her family's primary breadwinner from a young age, she didn't want to step out of line.
