Rauw Alejandro has dropped "Baby Hello," a taste of his upcoming album PLAYA SATURNO. The song was produced by Argentina's Bizarrap, who already collabed with Alejandro earlier this week for "BZRP Music Session #56." It also features a music video directed by Martin Seipel and el Zorro, which has the reggaeton futurist playing his signature sexual extraterrestrial.
But for all of its space-age stylings, "Baby Hello" slots neatly into the retro Eurodance revival heralded by Bebe Rexha and her rallying cry of "I'm good, yeah I'm feeling alright." It even features a talk box vocoder hook that's so corny it loops back around and becomes kind of awesome.
Alejandro released his last full-length, Saturno, earlier this year, and followed it up with RR, an EP collab with his girlfriend Rosalía.
