Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United responded to last week's 4-0 thrashing at Crystal Palace with a much better performance against Arsenal over the weekend despite falling to a 1-0 defeat.
Leandro Trossard scored the game's only goal in the first-half as Mikel Arteta's men returned to the top of the Premier League table.
United showed glimpses of quality against top opponents but they were unable to get on the scoresheet. Erik ten Hag's men remain eighth in the table, three points off Chelsea in the Europa Conference League spot.
Newcastle, who are also three points above United, come to Old Trafford on Wednesday looking to confirm their place in Europe next season.
