EXCLUSIVE: Grammy-nominated rapper Logic has boarded dark heist comedy Above the Line as an executive producer.

Logic’s producing partner Michael Holland also joins the project as co-executive producer. The dark comedy tapping into Hollywood angst is the second feature of writer, director, and producer Jeffrey Scott Collins, after debut Poor Greg Drowning.

Described as combining the world of Swingers with the sensibility of Pulp Fiction, the L.A.-based comedy follows six Hollywood hopefuls who are roped into a harebrained plan to steal the Best Picture awards of a despised producer who has screwed each of them over as they struggle to make it big.

The film stars Cedric The Entertainer (The Neighborhood and The Last O.G.), Sophia Ali (Uncharted and The Wilds), Gregg Henry (Guardians of the Galaxy and Raising Cain), Adhir Kalyan (United States of Al, Rules of Engagement), Reno Wilson (of Good Girls, Mike & Molly), John Way (Oh Canada, Reality) and Jamie Lee (Crashing).
