Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.
Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.
Rangers are reportedly facing late pressure to sign Yusuf Kabadayi after Besiktas had an offer accepted for the Bayern Munich winger.The Germany U20 international has been identified as a key target in Philippe Clement's summer rebuild at Ibrox, with the Belgian boss keen to bolster his options at the top end of the pitch.
A deal for Kabadayi to make the move for Govan is thought to be close, but reports in Turkey claim that Besiktas, who are now managed by former Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst, are also in the mix to land the player.
Turkish outlet Super Haber claim that a deal has been agreed in principle for Kabadayi, with the 21-year-old now weighing up his options.
The source adds that Besiktas' vice president Huseyin Yucel will also play a role in the negotiations in a bid to convince Kabadayi that his future lies in the Turkish capital of Istanbul.Another forward player who is believed to be on the Gers radar this summer is Rapid Bucharest's Kosovan forward Albion Rrahmani.
