dailyrecord.co.ukRangers are reportedly on the trail of Colombian striker Frank Castaneda.The 27-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Moldovan outfit Sheriff Tiraspol where he was club captain.
Castaneda was part of the Sheriff side who helped stun European giants Real Madrid with a Champions League win in the Santiago Bernabeu.
But they did not renew his contract and, according to the Sunday Post, the Scottish Premiership champions are weighing up a move.
Castaneda started his career in South America at Venezuelan outfit Caracas before returning to his homeland with Orsomarso. Like current Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, he was then given his chance to move to Europe when he joined Slovakian outfit Senica.
