However, that would still fall short of what the 25-year-old would earn if he remained a Rangers - where he has been relegated to the B team by Philippe Clement after a last season's season-long loan in La Liga with Alaves.
And now Rapid insider Robert Nita - who acts as a consultant to owner Dan Sucu - has claimed that Hagi is "afraid" of the move - because he doesn't want to face off against his dad Gheorghe's Farul Constanta side where he came through the academy.
