Rangers have banned a spectator who was seen making Nazi salutes inside Ibrox during the West Ham friendly on Tuesday. The team were in action in the match against their English counterparts last night, July 19, when the incident unfolded.
Rangers moved swiftly and banned the man, who was wearing a football top representing a different club, while Police Scotland said they were aware of the incident.
The footage, which was circulating online, showed the man, dressed in a white jacket, standing up and making the Nazi salute, first in the direction on the pitch and then turning towards the West Ham fans.
Rangers have confirmed he was then removed by club stewards before being banned from the stadium.A club spokesperson told Sky Sports: “We are aware of a video circulating online regarding an individual within the home section who was wearing a football top representing another club.“We condemn the appalling actions of this individual who will no longer be welcome at our stadium.
