Teetering Tottenham avoided a Rangers nightmare as under-fire Ange Postecoglou walked the plank before Dejan Kulusevski rescued a 1-1 Europa League draw at Ibrox.Hamza Igamane rocketed in a strike in the 47th minute as he made the most of a James Tavernier's inch-perfect ball which split Spurs and left former Celtic keeper Fraser Forster with no chance.

It appeared it was going to be the winner before the super Swede's slaloming run inside the box beguiled Jack Butland in the Rangers goal.

But the gutsy hosts stood tall and repelled their mega millions rivals. It appeared for long spells after the opener that Rangers would be the only winner.

Ibrox exploded and the Rangers players fed off it and the man in the away dugout was unable to hide his contempt. The cruel irony likely wasn't lost on the former Celtic boss, of course, as the team he conquered during his time in Glasgow could well be the team who ends up costing him his Premier League adventure.
